BAD BOSSES ARE YOU ONE OF THEM? Hot off the Press.

Human Resources, much has to be said about this appendage, a must have accessory of every corporation as required by law. It's a place where they shovel mounds of regulatory papers. Drug test and employment verification are part of hiring but no mental evaluation is ever given there lies the problem. when a complaint is launched against a supervisor or manager, he/she is given a tender slap on the wrist with a wink and a nod. If the abuse continues the employees is carted off to another dept to avoid undue confrontation.

Now if the Manager in question, his attitude and treatment of his employees does not change and he becomes a very problematic item and the employees discuss his mind set in the lunchroom and bathroom is bringing the company to edge to faces lawsuits, media attention about discrimination etc. Recruiters are the moder day sheep herder they lead the newbies to the slaughters house. Don’t believe a word they say not to diff from an Armed forces recruiter, fill in the quotas.

A strategy still in place though nobody will acknowledge it, which is if different company is looking for a comparable candidate for a position in their company, the manager is pawned off to this company with more money and glowing accomplishments of past performance and glowing references. The package is so attractive that it is hard to deny. so there goes the threat of lawsuits and the bad boss become a problem and a lability for another corporation and another cost center.

It a worldwide phenomenon across the globe that permeates almost every company, employees often wonder how this person was allowed to become a boss. what about his peers. these bad bosses carry a lot of luggage from place to place. but many of us carry scars of our interaction we them in our very own employment journeys luckily, we have not been seriously damaged by them but carry scars throughout our life’s.

Bad bosses have been heard saying “I am what I am, and nobody is going to change me.” They walk around with this persona, with a chip on their shoulder, why this attitude? Is it because of lack of education, social ineptness or a host of other inadequacies at home. Many corporations are imbedded in this old boy’s network where job interviews are a just a formality it is inbreeded in the culture itself.
